Recent Work 2021
2021 was one heck of a year for me. I lost my workshop to fire on March 10, 2021, it was devastating. We are still today getting over the fire but the resounding memory that I have is the kindness and support of my family friends and faithful client. I have only got this moment with your help. Thank you.
Here is a selection of work that I completed in 2021. Some on my kitchen table as I rebuilt my workshop. Some in my temporary workshop as the roof leaked into a bucket by my side and some in the back garden in the sunshine with my boys jumping on the trampoline.
A memorable piece for 2021 is a memorial tree for the Laura Lynn Hospice. This is the sculpture of a tree with two doves settled in the branches. Each time that a child is lost the name is inscribed on a leaf and placed on the tree. I hope that in some way I have been able to help in the grieving process of losing a child.
Thank you all for your support and for enjoying my Work.
