This was a commission form a lovely lady I meet while she was over in Ireland on a visit from New Zealand. She is called Marianna after a relative from 1875. I was delighted to make this fairy and send her on her way.
An Elegant sitting fairy with rose gold copper woven into her hair to give a further touch of femininity. She would be around 70 cm standing and her wings would reach waist height around 120 cm. She would weight around 5 kg and is made from the highest grade stainless. She is sitting on a petrified log that which is a piece of ancient marble.

I was delighted when at last I received a commissioned to make a wire Fox. I had been asked on a couple of occasions before to make a fox but it wasn’t until I met the lovely Muireann that eventually I got the chance to give it ago!! To add to this I decided to make a time lapse video to the concoction in order to show the magical process the attention to detail and hard work that goes into each one of my commissioned pieces.
I find this time of year we really need to liven up the dark and I am delighted that these really do the job!! I wanted to make something that gave fairy lights a permanent home in the garden. They have been woven in steel wire galvanized and sprayed. I have sourced the highest quality LED fairy lights. They are designed to live in the garden all year round and would look great at summer barbecue .. I will try growing sweet peas over them this summer to give a summer feeling. They really give a touch of magic in these darker night. They are energy efficient for the effect they give and would use the same electricity as a regular single light bulb.
This is one of the most detailed fairies I have made it was an idea I had in my head for some time and I was delighted to work with my client to realise this spinning fairy. She will catch the wind and spin but in order for her to spin continuously we will instal a motor. She feels so alive in her home and has a wonderful family to spread fairy dust on and a fantastic view of the valley. Spinning fairies require a lot of time price on application.
I make these hares from soft steel wire. They are rusted and sealed with a metal protector for a lifetime of smiles in the garden!!! They take around 15 hours of wiring to complete.. This classic pose of a sitting hare is my bestseller and will be happy to make one for you.
